This soothing beverage offers numerous health benefits, supported by research highlighting the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of turmeric, particularly curcumin. These properties can aid in the prevention and treatment of many diseases.

While fresh turmeric may not be available year-round, dried turmeric is a convenient alternative that works just as well. You can easily prepare this tea using the same method and proportions of turmeric and ginger, ensuring you can enjoy the health benefits of turmeric tea anytime, no matter the season.

If you’re using fresh ginger and turmeric to make the tea, preparing a paste of these ingredients will make brewing it a breeze. When a process is easy, it’s more likely to become a habit. You can make the paste in a blender, with an immersion blender, or in a traditional mortar and pestle. Stored in the refrigerator, this paste can last up to 10 days. For the best results, use a mortar and pestle, as it requires minimal water during the grinding process, which helps extend the paste’s shelf life.
